Our complete CBG lineup: 4 products, real research, full refund if it isn't better
The short version:
- We just launched four CBG products: two coffees (150mg and 300mg CBG+CBD) and two water-soluble tinctures (300mg and 900mg).
- The tinctures use a water-soluble formula that absorbs several times better than oil and has almost no taste.
- If any of them isn't better than the CBG you've used before, send it back for a full refund.
CBG has gone from a cannabinoid almost nobody could buy to the most interesting thing happening in functional coffee. We've spent the last stretch reformulating and testing so we could launch a CBG line we'd actually stand behind. Here's everything we shipped, the research behind it, and how to pick the right one.
What we launched
Four products, two formats. The coffees are for people who want CBG built into a morning ritual they already have. The tinctures are for people who want to add CBG to anything, or who want CBG without the coffee.
Colombia CBG Coffee, 150mg CBG + 150mg CBD
Our entry-strength CBG coffee. Single-origin Colombian beans infused with 150mg of cannabigerol and 150mg of cannabidiol per 12oz bag, roughly 8mg of each per cup. If you already drink CBD coffee and you're CBG-curious, this is where to start. The CBG is flavor-neutral at this dose, so it tastes like the clean Colombian you already know.
Black Label, 300mg CBG + 300mg CBD
The double-strength version. Same Colombian base, twice the cannabinoids: 300mg CBG and 300mg CBD per bag, around 16mg of each per cup. Black Label is for daily drinkers who treat CBG coffee as a functional part of the routine and want a dose that lands. Two cups gets you close to the 20mg CBG used in the only published human trial on CBG (more on that below).
CBG Water-Soluble Tincture, 300mg
A near-flavorless CBG liquid you drop into anything: water, coffee, juice, a smoothie. The 300mg bottle is the right starting size for most people and the easiest way to add CBG to a coffee you already love without switching beans.
CBG Water-Soluble Tincture, 900mg
The high-strength tincture. Same water-soluble formula, three times the CBG, better value per milligram. The 900mg bottle is for experienced users who already know their dose.
What CBG actually is
CBG is short for cannabigerol. It's called the "mother cannabinoid" because it's the precursor the plant uses to build most other cannabinoids, including CBD and THC, as it grows. By the time hemp is mature, most of its CBG has already converted into other compounds. Typical hemp ends up with about 1% CBG. That's why CBG used to be almost impossible to buy at a real dose, and why CBG coffee is still rare. Producing it takes hemp specifically bred to hold its CBG, harvested before the conversion finishes.
CBG is non-intoxicating. It won't make you high. Our extract is broad-spectrum and contains 0% THC, verified on every batch.
What the research says, and what it doesn't
We're going to be straight with you, because this is exactly where most CBG marketing falls apart. CBG research is real but young. Here's the honest state of it.
Anxiety and stress. The strongest evidence we have is a 2024 human trial published in Scientific Reports. Participants took a single 20mg dose of hemp-derived CBG. Compared to placebo, they reported lower anxiety and stress within hours, and they performed better on a verbal memory task. No intoxication, no cognitive slowing. It's the first peer-reviewed human study on CBG specifically, and it's part of why we waited to launch this line.
Inflammation and oxidative stress. A 2025 review in Frontiers in Pharmacology pulls together CBG's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity, including effects on platelet aggregation and insulin sensitivity in preclinical models.
Sleep. A decentralized trial run through the VA system dosed veterans 25mg CBG daily, then 50mg, tracking sleep and biometrics. The protocol is public.
What's still coming. Active human trials at Washington State University (acute physiological effects) and the University of Arkansas (ADHD indicators) are due to report within the year.
The honest summary: one solid human study, a stack of promising preclinical work, and more trials in flight. Anyone selling you certainty about CBG right now is overselling. We'd rather earn the order by being the brand that tells you where the line is.
Why two of these are water-soluble
This is the part we're most proud of, and the reason for the money-back guarantee.
Cannabinoids are fat-soluble by nature. Your body is about 70% water. Those two facts don't get along. It's why a standard CBG or CBD oil tincture, taken under the tongue, only delivers somewhere between 6% and 19% of its dose into your bloodstream in published pharmacokinetic studies. The rest gets broken down before it does anything. You're paying for milligrams you never absorb.
Water-soluble formulation fixes the mismatch. A 2024 review in Pharmaceutics lays out the nano-emulsion approach: shrink the cannabinoid into particles small enough to disperse in water, and absorption jumps. The numbers from human and clinical work:
- In the Hobbs et al. human study, a water-soluble formulation reached peak blood levels of 2.82 ng/mL versus 0.65 ng/mL for an oil version at the same 30mg dose. Same milligrams, more than four times the peak exposure.
- A clinical study of a water-soluble formulation called Purzorb measured 86% average bioavailability across more than 150 patients, with over half the dose in the bloodstream within 15 minutes.
The honest caveat, again: most of these rigorous absorption studies were done on CBD, not CBG. The molecules are close enough that the formulation principle carries over, but a published head-to-head on CBG-specific bioavailability doesn't exist yet. We expect it within a couple of years and we'll update our pages when it lands.
The practical result: our water-soluble tinctures deliver far more usable CBG per milligram than an oil tincture. That's the engineering behind the guarantee.
The taste problem nobody talks about
Oil tinctures taste like hemp. Grassy, earthy, a little bitter. That's because the cannabinoid rides in carrier oil that brings the plant's flavor compounds along for the trip. Our water-soluble formula isolates the cannabinoid and emulsifies it into a near-neutral base. A few drops in water, coffee, or juice, and you taste the drink, not the hemp.
For the tinctures, near-zero taste is the whole point. For the coffees, it's different, you want some character there, because the coffee is the experience. Two formats, two jobs.

Frequently asked questions
Is CBG legal?
Yes. Our CBG comes from hemp with 0% THC, which is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. Every batch is third-party lab tested and the Certificate of Analysis is public.
Will CBG make me high?
No. CBG is non-intoxicating, and all four products are 0% THC.
What's the difference between CBG and CBD?
They're different cannabinoids with different profiles. CBG is the precursor that CBD and others are made from in the plant. They're not interchangeable, and CBG isn't simply "stronger CBD." Our coffees include both so you get the pair together.
Why is water-soluble better than an oil tincture?
Absorption and taste. Oil tinctures absorb poorly in a water-based body (6% to 19% in studies) and carry a hemp flavor. Water-soluble formulas absorb several times better, work faster, and are nearly flavorless.
How much CBG should I take?
Start low and adjust. The one human trial on CBG used 20mg. Our 150mg coffee is about 8mg per cup, Black Label about 16mg. With tinctures, start with a small dose and wait 15 to 30 minutes.
Will any of this show up on a drug test?
Our broad-spectrum extract is formulated with no detectable THC, but no hemp product can guarantee a drug-test result. If you're tested, talk to your provider before using any hemp product.
Can I put the tincture in hot coffee?
Yes. It dissolves in hot or cold liquids without separating, and cannabinoids are stable at drinking temperatures.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Send it back for a full refund. See below.
The guarantee
Try any of these four against whatever CBG you've used before. If ours isn't better, send it back for a full refund, no friction and no return-shipping cost. We launched this line at the strength and formulation we chose specifically to put a measurably better cannabinoid product in your hands. If we didn't, we don't deserve the order. The guarantee is on every product page and it applies to first-time orders.
