Every bag of Buddha Beans has always had CBG in it. That part isn't new. What's new is how we're putting it in there.

We just dropped our first exotic coffee with 900mg of water soluble CBG per bag, 30mg per cup. And the difference between this and what we (and everyone else) have been doing is not small.

The problem with oil-based infusion

Most CBD and CBG coffee on the market uses oil-based cannabinoids sprayed or infused onto roasted beans. Ours included, until now. It works, but there's a catch your body already knows about.

Oil and water don't mix. Coffee is water. Your digestive system is mostly water. So when you drink oil-based CBG coffee, your body only absorbs around 6-10% of what's in the cup. The rest passes through. You paid for 30mg, your body got maybe 2-3mg.

We've known about this gap for a while. We just didn't have a solution we trusted.

Water soluble changes the math

Water soluble CBG uses nano-emulsion technology to break cannabinoid particles down small enough to actually dissolve in liquid. Your body treats it more like a nutrient in solution than an oil it needs to break down first.

The result: 4-5x better absorption. That 30mg per cup now delivers like 120-150mg of a traditional oil infusion would. Same dose on the label, dramatically more CBG actually reaching your system.

We didn't cut corners on the formulation

We spent the better part of a year working with one of the top nano-emulsion labs in the industry to get this right. These are formulators who work with major wellness and beverage brands. Not a white-label situation where we slap our name on someone else's generic formula.

The technology preserves the CBG through the emulsification process without degrading the cannabinoid or loading the coffee with fillers and stabilizers. The beans taste like coffee, not like a supplement.

We paired the water soluble CBG with an exotic single-origin coffee because the bean deserves the upgrade. This isn't a blend we're hiding behind a dose. It's a specialty grade coffee with a processing method that brings out complex flavor, and the CBG complements it instead of competing.

We've been building out our exotic coffee line this year. Anaerobic fermentation, thermal shock processing, co-ferments. These methods produce flavors that most people don't expect from coffee: berry, wine, tropical fruit. Adding water soluble CBG to a bean like that felt like the right move.
