Low-Acid CBD Coffee

Low-acid CBD coffee

Low-acid coffee is coffee with a gentler acidity than a typical bright, high-acid cup. Ours is single-origin coffee, roasted to keep the acidity down and infused with hemp CBD, so you get a smoother, rounder cup with 0% THC.

If bright, sharp coffee is not your thing, this is the milder end of the spectrum. Here is what makes a coffee low-acid, how we roast for it, and how the CBD side works.

What makes coffee acidic?

A coffee's acidity comes mostly from the bean, the growing altitude, and the roast. High-grown beans and lighter roasts tend to taste brighter and more acidic. Lower-grown beans and longer, darker roasts taste smoother and rounder. Acidity here means flavor, the bright, tangy notes in the cup, not the pH of your stomach.

How we keep it low-acid

We pick origins and roast profiles that lean smooth rather than sharp, and we roast a touch longer to soften the brighter notes. The result is a mellow, chocolatey cup instead of a bright, citrusy one. Many people simply prefer that taste, especially first thing in the morning.

The CBD side

Every batch is infused with hemp-derived CBD during the roast, so the CBD bonds with the bean's natural oils instead of being sprayed on top. That means an even cup and no oily film. All of it is lab-tested, USDA organic hemp, and 0% THC, with a certificate of analysis for every batch.

How to brew it

Brew it like any coffee: drip, pour over, French press, or espresso. If you want an even smoother, less acidic result, try a cold brew, which naturally pulls less acidity from the grounds.

Frequently asked questions

What does "low-acid" mean here?

It describes the flavor and roast, a smoother, rounder, less bright cup, achieved through bean selection and roast profile. It is a taste description, not a health claim.

Does low-acid CBD coffee still have caffeine?

Yes, the same caffeine as the coffee it is made from. If you want less, choose a decaf option.

Does it get you high?

No. It is 0% THC. CBD is non-intoxicating.

Is it third-party tested?

Yes. Every batch has a certificate of analysis showing CBD and THC levels.
