How the Swiss Water Process Actually Works
Most decaf you have ever bought was made by soaking the beans in methylene chloride, a solvent also used as a paint stripper, or in ethyl acetate, a solvent that smells like nail polish remover. The FDA allows trace residues. You probably do not love that.
